Carpet Textured Plastic Painted Metal

2 mil thick tape is commonly used on finished painted metal in conjuction with High Tack Protective Tape to help protect trated carpets and textured plastic parts such as sill plates. Both tape products are available printed "Dealer Must Remove." All of these products are available in narrow widths from 1" to widths of up to 60'. All products are available perforated for easier production application handling.

Door Panels Floor Areas

Protective Tape is frequently used on carpet and fabrics that are commonly soiled during vehicle assembly and transportation. The product is frequently pre-printed with the mesage "Dealer Must Remove" and is removed by the dealer upon delivery.

Carpet and Fabric

2 mil thick or 4 mil transit films are placed on commonly soiled fabrics and carpets located on door panels and floor areas. These films are removed by the dealer upon delivery.

Interior Doors

Protection of interior doors is available with a zone or strip-coated product. The adhesive edges of this polyethylene film adhere to painted metal surfaces only, while the central non-adhesive area helps protect leather, vinyl, cloth, carpet and polypropylene substrates. This film is available in 3, 4 and 5 mil thicknesses and is die-cut for easy access to door handles, locks and buttons. It is applied in the plant to help protect interior surfaces from in-plant use, as well as transportation damage. It is removed by the dealer.
